Meeting at the clubhouse
The Saturday meetings, held at the clubhouse, usually run from 9:30 am to about 11:30 am. We will bring everyone up to date on what is happening at the club. There will be sign-ups for various projects, so please join us and take a look at how you might like to participate. We are always looking for new ideas and new faces. Refreshments will be served.
September 7 works better for most board members. We will hold the meeting at the clubhouse starting at 5:15 pm. Please email Jenn, firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have any agenda items to be discussed at the meeting.
Now in its 11th year, Celebrate Cambrian is a family festival sponsored by District 9 Councilmember Donald Rocha along with support from Camden Community Center, other City Departments, local organizations and businesses, and community volunteers. This year, Celebrate Cambrian features local restaurants, including Best Taste, Dona Maria, Blue Rock BBQ and Twisted Chill, as well as live entertainment, bounce houses, a photo booth, children’s games and a community resource fair with over 40 resource booths.
WAON will have a booth. Come visit us!
The We and Our Neighbors 125th Anniversary event is making the news and we are looking forward to this quickly approaching celebration! Make sure you join us at the San Jose Clubhouse June 17th, 1pm-4pm.
Dear valued Cambrian Park community members,
As you likely know, The Little Free Pantry on the We and Our Neighbors site is growing in popularity. It is intended to be a community supported project and our team is now reaching out for assistance in keeping the pantry well-stocked.
There are a few important guidelines to follow when donating to the pantry. Non-perishables such as canned fruits/veggies, tuna, peanut butter, granola bars, cereal, pasta and pasta sauce are examples of popular items. Toiletries like shampoo, soap, deodorant and feminine hygiene products are also well received. Please do not include medicines of any kind. If you arrive to the Pantry to donate and it is full please do not leave items on the ground or the surrounding area.
Leigh High School is holding a food drive to benefit the pantry through June 23. Donations may be dropped from 8:30am – 4:00pm Mon-Fri to the front office. Campbell Union High School District on Union Avenue will host the Food Drive in July.
Please feel free to email Nancy at email@example.com if you have any questions.
With Gratitude and Hope,
Cambrian Park Free Little Pantry Team
Come and join the party! The We and Our Neighbors’ Club is celebrating its 125th Anniversary and you’re invited!! The festivities will be held on Saturday, June 17th, at the clubhouse from 1:00 to 4:00 with music, refreshments and, of course, cake, and featuring a presentation about the history of our organization with displays and memorabilia showing the people and events that contributed to our activities over the past 125 years. Included will be a re-dedication ceremony featuring a historical plaque in honor of this special occasion. We hope we can share this landmark event with you and look forward to seeing you on June 17th!

We are looking for photos and any kind of memorabilia from the last 125 years. We will have tables representing several decades at a time and we would like to have items from those decades to represent that time. Please contact Jenn at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have something to contribute.
Please join us at the clubhouse as we plan for the 125th Anniversary coming in June. This meeting is open to the public, and we are looking for ideas as well as volunteers. Any questions can be sent to email@example.com or call Jenn at 408.529.1034.
