County. The Clubhouse, built in 1910 by the
members is entered in the Nation a I Registry
of Historic Places and a San Jose Historic
We and Our Neighbors Club is a place for
women to socialize, become better informed
and perform charitable works. We and Our
Neighbors Club is dedicated to preserving the
historical clubhouse and supporting
worthwhile causes in the neighboring as well
as greater community. Women young and old are invited to join.

Did you live in Los Gatos in the ‘50s and ‘60s? Enjoy the library’s presentation of collected digital images of that era. If you can, help identify projected photographs from the library’s historical images collection by sharing your stories of the people, places or events you recognize. Your stories are an important contribution to the library’s local history collection, and your involvement helps keep our community’s history alive!

Music or dance student or aficionado? International traveler? Mandarin student?
David Zhang, raised in China, now living in San Jose, software engineer, news anchor, with an interest in Chinese history and philosophy, brings to us a program on five thousand years of splendor in Chinese history.
“The Renaissance of Chinese Culture and its Global Impact”
Meet ‘Shen Yun’, a troop that shares its impeccable skills and beauty and its noble mission of reviving the traditional Chinese culture and value that have almost been lost. Listen to sample recordings of some ancient Chinese instruments such as ErHu (two-string violin), Pipa (“Chinese lute”), Dizi (Chinese flute) etc., as well as watch two short video clips telling behind-the-scene stories of the Shen Yun performing troop.

Please save the date for the 10th Annual District 9 Celebrate Cambrian Festival! Entry to the festival is free for all attendees! The Celebrate Cambrian Festival is a family-oriented event sponsored by Councilmember Donald Rocha with support from the Camden Community Center, other City departments, local organizations and businesses, and community volunteers. The event showcases local food vendors, live entertainment, a resource fair, children’s activities and games, jump houses, and more!
